Hannah is now in a BIG BED!

Well my little girl is now in a BIG BED - yes all of 22 months old..... hum you would be thinking WHY WHY DO IT - hum have no choice - as she is now 94 cms tall and can climb out of a cot and takes off her
sleepbag or suit!!!
Had no option but had to bite the bullet and do it!! We have been so so luckly to date - as the cot is no longer in her room but single beds (well two of them - in case she has a friend!!!) but she is doing really well.

Hope this is not going to be one of those moments that I regret..........as normally you say these things and the next night all goes wrong!!!

13 Weeks Prego!!!!!

Gosh we are 13 weeks prego - totally forgot how tired, hungry you get - well have been eating everything in site!! Believe me......... I would hate to think how many cakes I have polished off over the last weeks, yes I am feeling for two (you would have thought I would be eating for six).

Oh well someone has to do it!!!!!

What Happened To My Handbag?????..........

Since motherhood my bag is no longer my bag - long ago, in my previous life it contained all the basics for a working gal - lippy, gloss, powder, bibs and bobs etc etc that I needed to function.

And now we are lucky if there is room for any of my stuff as now it contains :-
toddlers snacks including crumbs, drink bottle, sunscreen, a hat and normally a teddy or dolly!!!

Yes I travel light these days you could say.

There Are No Right Or Wrong Answers In Motherhood!

Lets face it - "there are No Right Or Wrong Answers" as we are all doing the best we can - maybe that may be full-time/part-time whatever it maybe. 

Yes it maybe my way instead of yours but it works for me... that is the key if you find something that works keep going with it.  Look its great getting advice from people - that is when you ask for it - as there are many a person out there that wants to tell you - which is nice of them to share- but I think  you need to clsoe off (shut off like men do) sometimes.

There is so much good advice out there - its just a filtering system - taking in bits and pieces when it suits and in your own time try it out!!

We are lucky as there are heaps of books out there - again if we choose to read them - gosh I had been given a few (god oh mighty they are heavy!) to date skimmed through what I have needed at the time - but hey have managed so far........look she is now 18 months and she is alive and kicking - god bless her.

Feeding - Its A Messy Business!

Gosh - I don't know about you but its "Messy Business", now feeding a Toddler - who is as at present trying to feed ourselves - sometimes its great and I think we are on the way and other times here we go again - food glorious food........

Bibs were a great invention - that is if they stay on...... another garage sale is bibs  here we go!.
I seem to have so many types shapes, different fabrics -  just purchased a couple of plastic ones to hold the food in when it falls, but again Hannah has worked out how to get these ones off also!

Where do you go you ask - full on plastic smocks!!! They are working a treat - a great find!!!!

Life As We Knew It!

Yes - remember the times when you do could - XZY with all of your spare time ......... blah blah blah and so on in your prior life.  I am starting the regain some of that - Yippy Ya HOOOOOOOO.:-)
Its called "Creche" - hum that word is bliss - frankly thank god for those ladies and gents when run the day care centres as they are gems.

Creche - the word has many a meaning for us all - but I think the main one is called "Freedom" yes freedom - the choice you have within those precious hours when they are in creche.  Hum thinking of what you would like to do - now I kow that sounds silly as there are a million and one things I could be doing - but just sitting around and not have to think of anyone else for a few moments is just wonderful - collecting Hannah in an hour so better dash to do just that!

Sippy Cups - Can Count 30 Odd in my Cupboard!!!!!

Sippy Cups - there should be a manual to say - what does what.  I can hear you all saying "Why so many!!" I know it sounds stupid to have so many and the expense of it all - well I did not think for a moment that I would end up with so many - hum I don't have a hobby at the present maybe this is it - I would be the first ever Mummy to admit this.

I am kidding - as NO its not a hobby of mine, but just ended up with so many - as when you need to start them using these sorts of cups - there are so many.  You start with one or two and then find out your child is not up to that cup, no she can use a straw yet, no the teat on this one is too hard....... and so on.  The other reason why I have so many if I have forgotton to take one with me- hum this has happened a few times - when you are travelling up find out you need more and well presto - another comes back with you.

I mean when we are finished having kids - instead of a furniture garage sale - we can have a "Sippy Cup Sale"!

Cleaning - Did I Sign Up For This??

Again I was not aware I would become a "Cleaner by day and by night".  Endless cleaning - but maybe I am a cleaning freak???? Hum but at present we have crumbs everywhere - just one snack that is all it took and it is now spread from one end to the other!!!
We have tried many a thing - but today resorted to all snacks and foods of any description to be eaten in the highchair.
Yes - this does sound like a logical solution - child kept in one place minimal crumbs I can hear you all saying............gave Hannah a cupcake and well she could have been running arounds I mean the crumbs are everywhere - all I can hear myself saying its okay - there is always the dustbuster!!!! What a great invention!!!!

Boobs - Where Have They Gone!!

Okay - I signed up I believe for a few things to change shape move up & down - but - Hey where have they gone - hum did not have much at the beginning but now - well implants would not go astray.  Yes I would not even go there (EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT - IF THAT IS YOUR CHOICE) but I can't see myself going there - so push up bras here I come!

1st Post - Maybe People Do Tell You The Truth Prior to Birth????

Hum - this is a tricky one - I remember when I first go pregnant - finally!!! Many people were more than happy to "Share" all kinds of storys with you - but do you listen - I mean really!
Well I think I was there in body at the time but where was my mind - I mean I was listening but not absorbing anything.  I remember replying back all kinds of weird and wonderful things :- like yes I can go back to work within 3 months no prob - work from home doing spreadsheeting blah blah blah and believe me I was so so confident with my comebacks!

Gosh if you could only go back and listen to the things you said - OMG that is all I can say as I know I would have a hugh giggle and would love to see the expressions on everyones faces!!!

But again - why does it not all sink in at the time - as mentioned there are always of plenty of people to tell you but where does all of this information really go - well for me - over the hills and accross the dales!!!!
